Senior Program Director, Human Rights Due Diligence (HRDD)

Verité seeks a Senior Program Director to play a leadership role in the organization’s enterprise human rights due diligence (HRDD) consulting practice. This is a senior position, suitable for someone with expertise and networks in the field of business and human rights, and deep knowledge of corporate practices, management systems, and accountability frameworks. This hire will contribute to guiding the organization’s overall strategy related to HRDD, and is expected to generate, oversee, and implement projects focused on HRDD and social impact for corporate clients across a range of industries and geographies, with an emphasis on manufacturing and other formal employment sectors. The role will also provide strategic and technical guidance on HRDD for Verité’s other practice areas, including HRDD related consulting and capacity-building for governments, civil society, and worker organizations.

Côte d’Ivoire-based Gender Specialist

Verité is seeking a Côte d’Ivoire-based Gender Specialist for the Protecting Migrant Workers in the West African Agricultural Sector project to oversee the integration of gender responsiveness into the project’s rationale, design, methodology, and implementation of project activities.

Request for Proposal: Research on Labor Exploitation in the Seafood Sector in Mexico and Peru

Verité is seeking to hire experienced researchers to conduct fieldwork for a study on forced labor and other forms of labor exploitation in the seafood sector in Peru and Mexico, specifically in the Yucatan Peninsula. The team should have extensive experience in labor rights research, research tool development, and interviewing vulnerable worker populations.

Experience conducting research in the Latin American seafood sector and within Mexico and Peru is preferred. The project will include research methodology and tool development, field research focused on worker interviews, data analysis, and a final research report. The project will be carried out between May 18 and August 31, 2026.


Verité Internships

Internships are available with Verité for the Spring and Fall semesters, and a Summer session. Verité interns do interesting and important work.

  • Internships are part-time.
  • We accept interns not currently enrolled as students as well as international candidates.
  • Application materials include a resume, cover letter, and writing sample. Your application will not be considered if you do not submit the correct documents.
  • It is preferable that writing samples pertain to international studies and showcase research and analytical skills.
