| Background Dan has lived in Chongqing, Nanjing, Macau, Hong Kong, Beijing and Bangkok, as well as Amherst, MA, Concord, NH and New York City while serving as an educator and an NGO leader. Living and working in a place growing as rapidly as China taught Dan that if the private sector is not provided with incentives to adopt more sustainable practices, civil society solutions will fall short and vulnerable people will suffer. Dan has been pleased to serve several world-class institutions in addition to Verité, including WWF-World Wildlife Fund and Catholic Relief Services. He is a graduate of Yale University, the Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs, and Nanjing Teacher’s University. |
