The RCC shows what exercising ethical recruitment, including the Employer Pays Principle, looks like in practice and from a financial perspective.

Do estimates in the calculator reflect fluctuations in market rates for recruitment fees and related costs?

We provide our estimates in ranges (lower and higher estimate) to account for cost variations in the market. Some of the most common cost variations include seasonal or reasonable market fluctuations or changes in transportation costs; market variations within the range of fees charged by a set of service providers; variations based on wage or sex-based variations.
Note that labor intermediaries providing ethical recruitment and due diligence compliance tend to charge more to employers for this specialized service.

Ranges for each cost item (lower estimate and higher estimate) are determined on a case-to-case basis depending on sample size. For a smaller sample (fifteen or less data entries), the formula for ranges will be the absolute minimum and absolute maximum.
For a larger sample (above fifteen data entries) the ranges are estimated as a dispersion of the mode’s minimum and maximum.
