Worker Participation in Problem Solving

Sustained change requires that workers be full partners in assessing, improving and maintaining just, legal and safe employment practices.  Building on our decade of bringing workers’ voices into the assessment process, we provide training and education programs that provide workers with the knowledge, skills and opportunities to become effective participants in positive change in the workplace.

Verité is working with brands, academic institutions, NGOs and factories in China to bring workers into the assessment and problem-solving process.  Our programs create structures through which workers participate in assessing and solving workplace problems. We provide technical training for management and workers, facilitate the creation of participatory structures, and implement a system that integrates workers into facility monitoring.

Training workshops include Code standards, communication, team building, conflict resolution, factory monitoring, reporting and problem solving.
